FREE Line Dancing Exercise Class for Women & Men
Would you like to have fun exercising? Free Line-Dancing Classes are on Mondays at 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Dance for one to two hours, depending on your stamina or schedule. Men as well as women are welcome. Dances include Mambos, Rumbas, Polkas, Waltzes, Cha-chas, and many others. Music includes English, Latin and other languages. It is lively and fun!
Line dancing is good for both the body and mind. It strengthens your heart, muscles, joints and bones. It also helps your memory and coordination as you learn steps, learn putting the steps together, and as you remember the sequences. Hand-outs are available on paper and digitally.
The classes are being taught by Patsy Phillip, long-time resident of Devine. She has been line dancing since 2011 and started teaching three years later. She teaches in Castroville, La Coste, San Antonio, at the Devine Nutrition Center, and now at Devine First United Methodist Church on Mondays at 2pm. Come join the fun!
